Material Transport

THERE WAS AN OLD WAY........AND NOW THERE IS A NEW WAY...........

The Li'L Burro Material Transport (see below) comes in five styles/designs (e.g. packages): (#1) a "Basic" Material Transport; (#2) a Solar Panel/Material Transport; and (#3) a combination of Material/Solar Panel Transport. The other two designs ("packages") work on a roof top and also includes a Level Rite Portable Tether/Ladder Roof Anchor. Number(#4) is a Rooftop Material Transport, and (#5) is the ultimate package that combines the Material/Solar PanelTransport and the Roof Top MaterialTransport.

An Over Eave Ladder Extender (bottom page) is sold separate and facilitates materials being pulled from the ground, over the roof eave and on to the roof or anchored ladder. Two Accessories (bottom of page) are useful add-on tools to expand the usefulness of each of the Transport packages. The Material Transport is designd to move Solar Panels, plyboard, windows, sheet rock, etc. on a frame. The frame work may be set up in minutes by one person. Loading and unloading is done easily by one person. A single cable moves material at 33' per minute, and a double line at 16' per minute. This adjustable tool may also be used to move window panes, sheetrock, sky lights, doors, tools, etc. It may be useful indoors or outdoors when moving building materials in a multi-level building under construction. Homeowners use it to move fireplace wood, groceries or light household items from their yard to the upper living area. Note: This ladder being used is too short for the tall roof of the shop where the demo occurred. Extending the ladder above the eave (like in the photo below) is recommended so that the panels may be removed from the Transport at the roof eave safely.

ROOFTOP MATERIAL TRANSPORT

A Portable Tether/Ladder Roof Anchor;

The ROOFTOP MATERIAL TRANSPORT includes a Level Rite Portable Tether/Ladder Roof Anchor (photo on left) that anchors your ladder to the pitch of a roof. The Portable Tether/Ladder Roof Anchor is adjustable to any pitch roof.

The Roof Top Material Transport facilitates the movement of material from the roof eave to the roof pitch. Guides on the Transport adjust to your ladder and the material tray adjusts to any pitch roof. The Transport "rides the rails" of your ladder (no special tracks required) that is anchored to the roof pitch with the Level Rite Portable Tether/Ladder Roof Anchor. It is powered with a 110-volt electric winch that is built in to a frame that hooks onto the upper ladder rung. The winch control has a 5-foot power cord, but a longer cord and a second control are available as an Accessory (see below). The winch may run off of an electrical source or a portable generator. A STOP frame is anchored near the bottom of your ladder to prevent the Transport from traveling too far. Transition ramps facilitate the movement from the wide section of your extension ladder to the more narrow section.

The Transport can move 250# of material with the single cable (or 450# with the cable doubled). It folds for easy handling and storage. It is compact (7 1/2" X 24" X 24") enough to be carried in a utility truck, and is made of lightweight aluminum - light enough (65#) to be carried by one person. It is particularly useful in confined spaces where a fork lift or telescoping material lift can not fit. Set up by one person takes approximately 20-minute - faster with two people.

UNIVERSAL SOLAR/MATERIAL TRANSPORT $1799.00 U.S. CA residents pay CA taxes.

The Universal Solar/Material Transport is custom made to serve two purposes. To transport material on the roof top or convert to a Solar/Material Transport. With all three designs, the Transport will only be used from the ground to the roof eave OR from the roof eave to the roof pitch.

The (yellow) control for the electric winch anchored at the top of the ladder has a 5' power cord. An accessory (shown above) is a second control and extra length of electrical cord (purchased separate) to permit a person to control the electric winch from a location further from the winch.
